Shoemoney’s First Website

I recently finished listening to the audio book version of the Jeremy Schoemaker’s (aka Shoemoney) book titled “Nothing Changed But My Change: The Shoemoney Story” and enjoyed hearing the story about how he was hired by a local ISP and quit working at Sears on the same day.

I first got on the real Internet in 1995 so appreciate the good old days of the Internet when it was truly like the wild west.

Anyway, the ISP he was hired at was called “Internet Express” based out of Moline, Illinois.

A little Googling and found the original website, and thanks to Archive.org a copy is still available for historical purposes.

Anyway, if you are a Shoemoney fan, and have read the book, you will enjoy this.

Here is a link to the archived version of his website (netexpress.net/staff/jeremy.html):

And here is the lady who hired him, possibly changing the course of his history and likely the course of history for the entire Internet!

Ok, I’m sure this wasn’t the very first website he made, but was probably one of the first.  😉

By the way, if you haven’t bought his book yet, do yourself a favor and buy it now… It is awesome!
